Dear teachers!
My name’s Weronika Kus. I teach Polish and English in Gimnazjum nr 14 in Ruda Śląska. I’m really happy that our school can cooperate with yours as far as eTwinning project is concerned. It’s our first project and we couldn’t have met a better partner to start with.
I’m writing to say special thanks to Nada Kadlecova and the music teachers (and the person who recorded the concert:-)). Recently we have received the DVD with a Christmas concert organized on 18.12.2008 in your church in Ceska Lipa.
Our eTwinning group and our headmistress (she is a music teacher) watched it and we found it really great. It was a pleasure to listen to such a broad repertoire, ranging from traditional Christmas carols through rock standards to gospel songs (Going up yonder and Let it be me became my personal top songs). We also admire the solists‘ talents. Congratulations to the students and to all those who were involved in preparing the concert.
May the joy you presented during the concert remains with you in all everyday situations!
In Poland we’re having our two-week winter break. After coming back to school I’ll present some fragments from the concert during a conference.

Vážení učitelé,
jmenuji se Veronika Kus a učím polštinu a angličtinu na gymnáziu č. 14 v Rudé Slasce. Jsem skutečně velice ráda, že naše škola může spolupracovat s vaší, mám na mysli eTwinning. Je to náš první projekt a nemohli jsme potkat lepšího partnera na začátek.
Píšu proto, abych vyjádřila zvláštní poděkování Nadě Kadlecové a učitelům hudební výchovy, a též tomu, kdo koncert natočil. Nedávno jsme dostali DVD s vánočním koncertem organizovaným dne 18.12. 2008 v kostele v České Lípě.
Naše skupina eTwinningu a paní ředitelka/ je učitelkou hudební výchovy/ sledovali koncert a velice se nám líbil. Bylo potěšením poslouchat takový široký repertoár, počínaje vánočními koledami, přes rock až ke gospelům./ Going up yonder a Let it be se staly mými oblíbenými písněmi./ Též obdivujeme talentované sólisty. Gratulujeme studentům a všem, kteří se podíleli na přípravě koncertu..
Ať radost, kterou jste prezentovali během koncertu, zůstane s vámi v každodenním životě.
V Polsku máme nyní dvoutýdenní zimní prázdniny. Až se vrátíme do školy, budu prezentovat části koncertu na konferenci.
