Studenti posledního ročníku se v letošním školním roce zapojili do soutěže s názvem Life Snap vyhlášené redakcí anglického časopisu Bridge. Jednalo se o fotografickou soutěž, do které měli studenti zaslat vlastní zajímavé fotografie, a k nim přidat popis – fotografie i popis měly odpovídat jednomu z obecných témat státní maturity. Ukázalo se, že naši studenti se nejen umí dívat kolem sebe a zachytit leckdy nečekané kouzlo okamžiku, ale navíc umí zachycený okamžik zajímavě popsat.

Odborná porota, posuzující jak fotografie, tak i jejich popis, vybrala nakonec z několika set došlých fotografií 50 nejlepších. S potěšením oznamujeme, že autoři tří z nich jsou studenty naší školy – a to Ondřej Dytrych, Klára Neznalová a Barbora Havlová, všichni studenti třídy VIII B. Fotografie Ondřeje Dytrycha byla vybrána jako celkově třetí nejlepší fotografie v soutěži, za což získává cenu HUAWEI Ideos X5 smartphone, k čemuž mu velmi gratulujeme. Protože si myslíme, že se jedná o opravdu krásnou fotografii, rádi ji zde i s jejím popisem a hodnocením poroty vedené paní Margot Buff, editorky rádia Svobodná Evropa, zveřejňujeme:

TOPIC – Relationships

The picture shows one way of interpersonal relationships. We can see a young couple in the middle, benches on the left and on the right, and a beautiful courtyard in the background. In my opinion, the picture was taken in summer because the people are slightly dressed. Another idea is that they are at a castle or palace. The general atmosphere in this picture is positive because they seem to be happy. I have very pleasant feelings from this picture, since they look like they are in love. The boy is bending a little bit because the girl is shorter than him. She is elevating on her right leg while the left leg is raised. On the one hand, it is nearly rare these days to see a young couple visiting places such as this one, but on the other hand, it is more comfortable to go to a cinema or a pub if you are not interested in history or architecture.

MB: Lovely composition and attention to detail. The photographer has arranged the scene to accentuate the multiple textures of the setting – the cobblestones, the iron gate, the repeating windows – while also making the dark silhouette of the couple pop out against the bright background.

Klára Neznalová se umístila na krásném 8.-9. místě a vyhrává knihu Josef Sudek: "Still Lifes" , Bára Havlová pak na místě 13.-50. a vyhrává elektronický slovník Lexicon 5.
